Last week, Motorola provided some details on its plans for the release of new software updates for its Android-based devices, but some things have changed in the meantime.
At that time, the company said that it was set to offer some more info on its plans for releasing OS upgrades for a series of handsets, and now it has provided confirmation on what will happen with these devices.
Motorola ATRIX 4G, Motorola PHOTON 4G and Motorola Electrify were among these, and it all comes as bad news for their owners, as the company will keep the phones with Android 2.3 loaded on them.
For many this might not come too much as a surprise, since Motorola has done the same before, but we were all expecting for things to change a bit following Google’s acquisition of the phone maker.
