One of the handsets that HTC has been long rumored to plan on bringing to the market before the end of this year was the HTC One X+, and its existence might have just been confirmed.

The handset has been spotted in leaked promotional materials over at UK wireless carrier O2, with some of the previously rumored hardware specifications of the new device being listed next to a photo of it.

The leaked document that emerged over at GSM Arena shows the new handset as being en-route to O2 UK with a 1.7GHz application processor packed inside.

The same as HTC One X, it sports a quad-core processor, only that it can deliver a bit more performance courtesy of the speed bump (the original was released with a 1.5GHz CPU).

At the same time, the new device comes with 64GB of internal memory packed inside, which makes it a nice option when compared to other high-end devices out there.

Apparently, HTC will also deliver 25GB of free cloud storage to those who will purchase the new device, as part of its partnership with Dropbox.

Additionally, the new mobile phone is expected to hit the market with the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system packed inside.

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will arrive on One X and One XL only next month, and the availability of this OS flavor on the smartphone right from the start should boost its adoption.

The rest of the specs list that One X+ will arrive on the market with is the same as that of the original high-end smartphone from HTC, so no surprises there.

The handset is said to be coming soon to O2 UK, with a price tag of £479.99 (around $780) attached to it on Pay-As-You-Go. If indeed so, it will be cheaper than the 64GB iPhone 5, though it remains to be seen when exactly it will arrive on the market, as no details on this have been unveiled so far.
