Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has unveiled a new Android-based smartphone specifically designed for the Chinese market, namely the HTC One XC.
The new handset features a quad-core Qualcomm S4 processor and 1GB of RAM (though HTC China lists it with a dual-core CPU), along with a large 4.7-inch 1280 × 720 touchscreen display, while being powered by Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
On the back, HTC One XC sports an 8-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash and support for HD video recording. It also comes with 16GB of internal memory, and features all the usual connectivity capabilities and sensors. The smartphone is powered by a 2,000mAh battery.
HTC hasn’t provided specific info on the phone’s pricing in the country, nor did it offer specifics on its launch date.
