Hints on troubleshooting the Nokia 6760 display problem:
1. Visually check the LCD screen module for possible cracked or broken damages, or try replacing it.
2. Check the flex ribbon cable wire, replace if damaged. Ensure that is perfectly attached.
3. Clean, re-solder the flex pin connector.
4. If the LCD is OK, the flex is OK, check and calibrate the device firmware or try to restore or re-flash it again.
5. If the above procedure doesn't solved the problem, replace the Display filter IC's.
In Nokia 6760 slide the two EMI display filter IC are mounted just near the flex ribbon pin connector. The first one, (highlighted with green) also used and shared for keypad filtering connection.
