Nokia has seen a very bad time with the advent of Android operating system and iOS, and other manufacturers tasted success because of their lack of arrogance and ego. Nokia thought itself to be too big to adopt the open source user interface and soon they suffered because of their attitude, and it's said that the bigger they are the easier they fall. This company from the beautiful country of Finland tried to experiment with different operating systems such as different versions of Symbian, however it was written in their destiny that they are supposed to be doomed. Soon, everyone forget about the Finnish mobile manufacturer and even some great attempts like the Nokia N8 suffered because of the poorly-planned operating system, and we thought we will never see them attempting again.
Wait, the telecommunication giant is still alive and ready to kick some rear with an impressive array of new Nokia phones, including some great handsets running on the Windows Phone platform, and are still unpopular. See, a new operating system needs some time before it can spread its wings and fly to the heavens of success and this is what happening to the new OS, while consumers are pushing each other to test the device first. We tested it and quite frankly it was evident that it is still in nascent stage, and similar to the Android operating system it will take some time for consumers to get used to the newest entry in the smartphone market, and only getting appreciated by mobile critics is not enough, as they also need the support of tech buffs who are supposed to purchase these new Nokia phones in great numbers.
Nokia Lumia 800, for instance, was a great product and appreciated by mobile critics for an innovative and exciting user interface, however the response of consumers was not up to the mark, and we don't believe what Nokia says. The Finnish mobile manufacturer in their latest commercial even stated that other operating systems are still in their beta stage, and consumers should not consider that they are using a smartphone, and the actual smartphones are only produced by Nokia. Well, it's called flattering yourself when no one is listening to you, may be they need to perfect their devices first.
